Scripture and Prayer Topic: Faithful
Scripture: Matthew 25:23
His Lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to know that no matter how far we have strayed, or how much doubt we’ve permitted to grow roots in our hearts as to our worthiness of your love based on the words of deprecation from others and ourselves… we can always come home to you and your unwavering, omnipotent, and steadfast love. All we have to do is receive it. We thank you for your kindness, your patience, your love, and for every Blessing… you generously Gift us. Amen.
Personal/Professional Growth Tool Suggestion:
Put every employee’s full name onto individual slips of paper; then, into a container. Have someone pull out a name randomly and set a timer for everyone to write down as many words as they can using only the letters in the name pulled. It’s a great stress buster to get everyone’s mind off things for a few minutes. Pull as many names as your time permits to see who wins a free beverage, a few extra minutes of break time, etc.
Coping Skill Suggestion:
Play a game with a child you know. Identify shapes of clouds if you don’t have board games, a ball, a puzzle, etc. Kids have a way of always “keeping it real!” Forget worries and you both benefit from that connection time.
