Scripture and Prayer Topic: Gratitude
Scripture: Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Woman’s Day)
Prayer:
Dearly Divine, When we begin our days filled with gratitude, we can come to the world around us with more heart. That doesn’t mean extending the ability for others to trample our hearts or the hearts, minds, spirits, or bodies of others… but to establish and hold sacred the boundaries in honoring one another as equal children of God… in value, and of worth. If our brothers or sisters are in need, soften our hearts to hear the silent cries or whispers being sung in the wind. If guidance is needed, let us stand steadfast with faith in the courage of your love when we raise the voice you ask of us and the messages you guide us to share. Guide us to see the way you see. Amen.
Personal/Professional Growth Tool Suggestion:
Partner up with an accountability buddy to begin a new hobby or class. Having an accountability buddy helps us remain on track to achieving or completing our goals, large or small. This can be from just simply exercising and becoming more physically active to learning job skills, or a new artistic interest.
