Scripture: John 16:22

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. (biblestudytools.com)

Prayer:

Creator of all that is seen and unseen, there are so many who are grieving… grieving losses of all kinds. Whether our losses are regarding people, pets, homes, jobs, or world events… help us to know you are with us. You are with us through our denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance… whether we acknowledge you, ask you to be here, or deny you are here… YOU. ARE. HERE. Help us to not turn away; but, turn towards you and one another… for the comfort your love can bring us. Help us to learn from all of the ones we’ve lost and BE the best part of what we’ve seen in those who’ve entered the next portion of their soul journey; daring to Bless us along their Divine path. We thank you for the Grace of their Light; however brief or long. Amen.

Personal/Professional Growth Tool Suggestion:

Color coordinate your wardrobe a week in advance. This can be an easy way to reduce your morning stress, as you don’t have to waste time deciding what to wear. You could give yourself a few extra moments of sleep, time with your family, or alone time to meditate… by simply doing this one simple task ahead of time.

Coping Skill Suggestion:

Sort through, file, place in an album and/or edit your pictures. Just as some friends are only for a season, not a lifetime… it’s okay to go through and delete or toss old photos that no longer hold special meaning. It is also a great way to realize or remember things you totally forgot happened, people you may have met briefly and remind yourself of the many blessings we may forget on any given day.
