Scripture and Prayer Topic: Surrender
Scripture: Psalm 50:15 (ESV)
And call upon me on the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, the more we resist the whispers you place within our hearts, the more difficult we make our own lives. May we not spend one more moment waiting, wondering, of the gloriousness of all you have in store for us. May we surrender to feeling the radiant light of your love shine so brightly within us, we spill it on everyone around us… so everyone can ride the wave of… BE lifted by... your Light.
Personal/Professional Growth Tool Suggestion:
Sign up for skill-building classes that are offered by your local Chamber of Commerce and/or their affiliates such as nearby colleges and universities. There are a variety of free and/or low cost seminars and/or webinars/zoom classes to learn about the current business or position you work, one you’d like to increase your chances of getting; or relating to a business you’d like to begin. It doesn’t ever hurt to get a “No, we don’t offer that service, at this time.” If they do, your future begins with taking that initial step.
Coping Skill Suggestion:
If you don’t already have one, create a space within your home for self-care time. The size and scope doesn’t matter. Just clear a space... symbolic of clearing the clutter from your heart, mind, and soul. The easiest way to do this is to begin clearing away/giving away things you haven’t used in a year. In all likelihood, if it was shoved in a cabinet or closet somewhere… it’s outlived its usefulness in your life… while someone else may be praying for that exact item, to ease something in theirs. Remember what it was like for you to want or need it? Imagine the smile and warmth created in the heart of someone who might receive it, today. As you clear the clutter from your physical surroundings, realize how you’re creating space for the pieces or Gifts in your life you may not have had room to receive. Get ready to accept your Abundance.
