The Bible’s book of Mark in Chapter 5: 34…. depicts a story about the emotive… “If I could only touch the robe of Jesus… I’d be healed.”
At our worst moments, those deep, dark moments we’ve felt alone and we didn’t give up… those were our moments… the moment we laid down our hurt/pain and “touched the healing robe of the Divine.” It's the moment we reached out for healing; but, when we listened in that moment, we felt the hand of the Divine resting on our hearts… hearing the whisper… “everything you need to heal… is already within you, my child.”
Casting Crowns sings a BEautiful and heartfelt songs called “Scars in Heaven,” which talks about “the scars we’ve picked up along the way…” and how “they won’t belong to me and you,” once we’ve passed from this earthly life. Hallelujah there will be no scars in Heaven, except “on the hands of the one who holds us” each day we are on earth. What could we accomplish… if we lay them down, now?
